Yin Leng & Wei Chuen's Pre-Wedding at Upper Seletar Reservoir , Gallop Extension & Botanic Gardens
Finally here with a blog post about the Pre-wedding session with the awesome Yin Leng and Wei Chuen last year. YL and WC were one of the sweetest, most friendliest couple ever and we had so much fun during the shoot.
We discussed intensely about where to shoot, what to wear and what props to bring prior to the shoot so as to fit everything we wanted to do efficiently because YL and WC had many lovely ideas haha. I won't say I've been everywhere but I do try to scout out good locations in my daily life so as to offer the best advise to my clients and facilitate the planning in a meaningful way. After much deliberation, we settled on the lovely Upper Seletar Reservoir and Botanic Gardens because YL and WC really loved the famous "lone tree".
Weathering the heat
Doing an outdoor photo session in sweltering Singapore is always a challenge and I always make sure to give my clients a big heads up. There's nothing worse than an unexpected dose of expectation disappointment haha. Despite the heat though, I promise outdoor photography in Singapore is SO worth it and the photographs will be something you will cherish forever.
YL and WC were so on board with everything , it made the session so much fun! We all sweated buckets but we all pushed through with laughter =)
Magical Sunset at Upper Seletar Reservoir
Sunsets at reservoirs are always such a magical event. That said though, getting beautiful magical hour shots still requires research and planning. We made deliberate efforts to be at upper Seletar Reservoir in order to capture the magic hour. We weren't the only couple there though. Thankfully after a little wait, we finally got our turn with the famous lone Casuarina tree.

We had another Pre-wedding shoot at Gallop Extension and Botanic Gardens the next morning and was greeted with beautiful orange sunrise. A little sunny but thankful there was no rain hehe

It was an adventure capturing Yin Leng and Wei Chuen's pre-wedding photos! From lush greenery to beautiful colonial structures, these two were absolute rock stars, radiating love and joy in every shot. We had such a blast exploring, laughing, and snapping away, and their chemistry truly made my job a breeze. Cheers to love and laughter, you two!
